Activated Bleaching Earth Synonyms: Highly Bleaching Earth, Bleaching Clay, Fuller's Earth, Montmonillonite K10, Tonsil Optimum 230FF Cas No.: 70131-50-9 Molecular Formular: H2[Ai2O3.mSiO2(OH)2].nH2O Physical and chemical property: This product is a sub-white powder which is not dissolued in water, oil or organic solvent. It has strong properties as cation exchange capacity, selective adsorption, hydrophilic property, surface activity and catalysis, It can absorb and eliminate mineral materials as pitch, neutral colloid, sulfide and olefinenaphthenic acid in lubrication to improve the durability and photo-stability of the lubricant and to increase the ability of corronsion-resisting, and can also absorb and eliminate the pigment, aflatoxin and the carcinogenic substance of 3-4 benzpyrene in vegetable oil, in addition, it has strong ability of oil, in addition, it has strong ability of oil decolorization, high speed of filtering oil and low oil retention of filter cake. Applications: 1. Refining of Vegetable oils like: Cottonseed, Soyabean, Sunflower, Rapeseed, Mustard, Peanut, Coconut, Corn, Olive, Ricebran, Palm, Palm-kernel, Linseed, Castor, Jajoba & Canola oils. 2. Refining of hydrogenated vanaspati ghee oils, Margarine & shortening. 3. Refining of Animal Fats like tallow oil, fish oil, lard oil. 4. Refining of Mineral Oils like: - paraffins and waxes - insulating oil, rolling oil, white oil, waste oil (lubricating oil) - industrial triglycerides and fatty acids used for paints, varnishes and soaps. 5.
