| In Vitro | Meta-Topolin is first isolated from poplar leaves. Meta-Topolin is a natural constituent of plant tissues, together with its 9-β-D-ribofuranosyl and 9-β-v-glucopyranosyl derivatives. Meta-topolin is more active than zeatin and benzyladenine in the promotion of shoot formation in plant tissue cultures[1]. In Spathiphyllum floribundum, shoot production in media with BAP and meta-topolin is very similar[2]. |
