In Vitro | DDAO-C6 (100 μM; 2 h; 32 ℃) has been used to visually identify intestinal fungi, Trichosporon asahii Y2, that exhibits high lipase expression from human feces. T. asahii Y2 promotes nutritional obesity in mice[1]. DDAO-C6 (10 μM; 30 min; 37 ℃) exerts enzymatic hydrolysis mediated by lipase with different concentrations (0, 2, 4, 6, 8, 12, 20, 25, 30, 40, and 50 μg/mL), results a linear relationship between the fluorescence intensities and lipase concentrations[1]. DDAO-C6 (50 μM; 6 h; 32 ℃) can be used to sense lipase activity, while is applied in colonies incubation, DDAO-C6 products a red fluorescence signal, suggesting the existence of active lipase[1]. DDAO-C6 hydrolysates have fluorescence properties, with the fluorescence detection conditions: excitation wavelength 550-600 nm, fluorescence emission spectrum detection 630-700 nm[2]. |
In Vivo | DDAO-C6 can be used to guide the rapid identification and cultivation of lipase active fungal strains from intestinal microbes in human feces, which is a potential technique for the biological investigation of intestinal microbes[2]. |
