Cefminox sodium (MT-141) also acts as a dual agonist of prostacyclin receptor (IP) and PPARγ, upregulates cAMP production and PTEN expression and inhibits Akt/mTOR signaling. Cefminox sodium (MT-141) also prevents pulmonary arterial hypertension[2].
