Abstract

Method A involves the reaction between the carboxylic acid dissolved in aqueous potassium hydroxide and reagent I. which constitutes the organic phase. The reactions were performed with vigorous stirring at various temperatures (25~ 90" C) and for varying reaction times (10 min 311).
