Abstract
The extracts of Inula britannica have anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial, anti-hepatitic, and anti- tumor activities. Various sesquiterpene lactones with cytotoxic properties including 1-O- acetylbritannilactone (1) have been isolated from this Chinese medicinal plant.
