Abstract
Di-and trisubstituted barbituric acids and, to a lesser extent, acyl-and alkylureas have been the subjects of numerous publications because of the favorable properties of many of their representatives as hypnotics. Disubstituted acetamides, on the other hand, have received relatively little attention.
