Abstract

When we surveyed the literature on the palladium-catalyzed synthesis of the α,β-unsaturated ketones, only two examples were noticed. One example uses the activated derivatives that have to be formed either prior to the reaction or in situ by an activator such as pivalic anhydride or dimethyl dicarbonate.
