Abstract
The Beilstein Journal of Organic Chemistry (BJOC) was started in 2005 [1] as the first Open Access journal of the Beilstein-Institut. The Beilstein-Institut is a non-profit foundation that carries out projects supporting advances in chemical sciences and related areas, particularly through information and communication.
