Abstract

Abstract: A new method for the preparation of tert-butyl ethers is described starting from aryl aldehyde and ketone tosylhydrazones under Bamford-Stevens reaction conditions (t-BuOK/t- BuOH). Key words: tosylhydrazones, tert-butyl ethers, potassium tert-butoxide, tert-butanol, diazocompounds
