Abstract

Abstract An efficient aminocarbonylation of N-tosylhydrazones derived from aromatic aldehydes and ketones mediated by molybdenum hexacarbonyl is reported. This method is palladium-free and provides a rapid access to the α-aryl acetamides in moderate to good yields.
