Abstract
The catalytic addition reactions of X–Y-type substrates to carbon–carbon multiple bonds are of continued interest due to the facile access to 1,2-difunctional units from simple alkenes or alkynes with ideal atom efficiency. 1 Among these transformations, addition reactions of X–CN to alkynes simultaneously form vinyl–X and vinyl–carbon bonds, both of which can be used to construct complex structures.
