Abstract
(1) Supported by the Office of Ordnance Research, US Army. the commercially available tri-n- amylborane2 according to the method of McCusker and coworkersa in 87% yield. The interaction of stoichiometric amounts of di-n-amylchloroborane and din-amylamine afforded the amineborane, which was thermally decomposed to release hydrogen chloride and to form tetra-n-amylaminoborane.
