Abstract

Earlier work from our laboratory has shown that benzyltriethylammonium tetrathiomolybdate,[(PhCHZNEt&MoS41, 1, is a useful sulfur transfer reagent which can be used for the synthesis of disulfides from alkyl halides in both intermolecular and intramolecular reactions.
