Abstract

Abstract Two glycosides of the cycloartane series—cyclogaleginosides A and B—have been obtained from inflorescences of Astragalus galegiformis L.(Leguminosae), and their structures have been established by chemical transformations and spectral characteristics as cyclogalegigenin 3-O-(2′-O-acetyl)-β-D-xylopyranoside and cyclogalegigenin 3-O-β-D- xylopyranoside, respectively.
