Abstract

Copper rhloride catalyzed decomposition of a variety of peroxides was conducted in the presence of toluene in acetonitrile, and the resulting products were determined. With dicyclohexyl peroxydicarbonate, benzoyl peroxide, and benzoylperoxyisopropyl carbonate, aromatic oxygenation was noted.
