Abstract

Abstract A straightforward preparation of N-substituted cyclohex-3-enamines starting from the commercially available trans-4-aminocyclohexanol hydrochloride is described. Cyclohex- 3-enamino-functionalized compounds have proven to be interesting intermediates in medicinal chemistry.
