Abstract

Abstract Rhodium (I)-catalyzed [2+ 2+ 2] cycloaddition reactions of N-tosyl-, carbon-, and oxygen-tethered cyanodiynes in a completely intramolecular fashion have been optimized to afford highly functionalized pyridines by conventional and/or microwave heating.
