Abstract
ABSTRACT: The following 6-hydroxycatecholamines (2, 4, 5-trihydroxyphenethylamines or- phenethanolamines), potential metabolites of catecholamines, were synthesized (Charts 1- 111): 3-0-methyl-6-hydroxydopamine, 6-hydroxynorepinephrine, 3-0-methyl-6- hydroxynorepinephrine, 6-hydroxyepinephrine, and 3-0-methyl-6-hydroxyepinephrine.
