Abstract

A series of 3-alkoxy-4-methanesulfonamido acetophenone derivatives were synthesized and evaluated for their anti-inflammatory activity in carrageenan-induced rat paw edema model. The synthesized compounds were also investigated for their gastric ulcerogenic potential.
