Abstract

Abstract The reaction of 2-(arylamino)-2-oxoacetates with PCl 5 afforded 2-(arylamino)-2, 2- dichloroacetates. The reaction of these compounds with aniline derivatives allowed a convenient synthesis of a great variety of 2-(arylamino)-2-(arylimino) acetamides.(© Wiley- VCH Verlag GmbH & Co.
