Abstract
RuII (arene) complexes have been shown to be promising anticancer agents, capable of overcoming major drawbacks of currently used chemotherapeutics. We have synthesized RuII (η6-arene) compounds carrying bioactive flavonol ligands with the aim to obtain multitargeted anticancer agents.
