Abstract

Discussion In Table I are summarized the results of our experiments along with those of earlier investigators for comparison. It can be seen that except for the addition of ethylmagnesium bromide, the amount of conjugate addition to 2-cyclohexenone is comparable to the amount of conjugate addition to its open chain analogs.
