Abstract

Abstract The asymmetric epoxidation of α, β-unsaturated ketones has been achieved by using functional and readily accessible primary-secondary diamines as the catalysts, giving the useful alkyl epoxy products with good yields and high enantioselectivities (up to 99% ee).
