Abstract
The cross-coupling reaction of tolylboronic acids (1.3 equiv.) with chloroarenes in toluene was carried out at 80–100° C in the presence of a NiCl2/PPh3 catalyst (3mol%) and K3PO4· nH2O (2.6 equiv.). The reaction can be applied to various electron-deficient and-rich chloroarenes and is economical as the industrial process.
