Abstract

Abstract 4-Methoxy-N, N'-dithiobenzoyl-m-phenylendiamine (dithioamide) has been subjected to oxidation with potassium ferricyanide. By using the equimolar amounts of dithioamide and ferricyanide only a partially cylized compounds has been obtained, whereas when the great amount of ferricyanide is used the cyclization is completed.
