Abstract

A novel side-chain-type sulfonated aromatic diamine, 5-[1, 1-bis (4-aminophenyl)-2, 2, 2- trifluoroethyl]-2-(4-sulfophenoxy) benzenesulfonic acid (BABSA) was synthesized and characterized.
