Abstract
During the preparation of some fluorine fluorosulfonate,* bp-31.3'by the action of fluorine on sulfur trioxide, a small amount of a reactive byproduct, liquid at room temperature, was obtained. The object of this investigation was to vary the reaction conditions in an effort to obtain this new compound in sufficient quantity to permit identification.
