Abstract

The pyrolysis of N-alkylacetamides to olefins1. 4 appears to require temperatures 100'or more above those required for the pyrolysis of the corresponding alkyl acetates, whereas the pyrolysis of alkyl phosphatess requires temperatures of 50-100 less than those for the acetates.
