Abstract

The new compound (CF3) zPF (mp-150'; bp-12') reacts with B2He at 0" or higher to produce Hz,(CFdsPH, IJI? 3 (also at 0'a partially fluorinated borine), and the new [(CF3) 2PBH2] 3 (air- stable; mp 30.5'; bp est. 177"; slow decomp. at 200'converting all B to BFs); The highly volatile complex (CF3) 2PF.
