Abstract
New and synthetically important symmetrical bis (4, 6-dimethyl-2-pyrimidyl) dichalcogenides have been synthesized by reacting 4, 6-dimethyl-2-chloropyrimidine with the corresponding dichalcogenide (E22− where E= S, Se, Te) ion.
