Abstract: New chemiluminescent reactions of four oxalic anhydrides with hydrogen peroxide in the presence of fluorescent compounds are reported. The reaction with bis (tripheny1acetic) oxalic anhydride (I) produces an emission quantum yield of 0.13 einstein mole-'and a quarter intensity lifetime of 30 min.
