Abstract
Abstract: Triethylborane-induced radical reduction of organic halides with tri-2- furanylgermane provided the corresponding reduced compounds in good yields. Radical cyclization of b-haloalkyl allyl ether or 6-halo-1-alkene afforded five-membered products under the same reaction conditions.
