Abstract

Direct arylation of unreactive C–H bonds has received considerable attention in the field of cross-coupling reactions in recent years.(1) Transition metal complexes, especially Pd, Rh, and Ru complexes, played a key role in most of these reactions. Recently, some cheap and environmentally benign metal catalysts such as iron(2) and cobalt(3) have also been developed.
