Abstract

Reaction of ethyl 2-isothiocyanatocarboxylates, phenyl isothiocyanate and benzyl isothiocyanate with azoimide or trimethylsilyl azide afforded 5-(substituted amino)-1, 2, 3, 4- thiatriazoles. Rate constants for the formation of 5-ethoxycarbonylmethylamino-l, 2, 3, 4- thiatriazole in the reaction of trimethylsilyl azide with ethyl 2-isothiocyanatoacetate in 80% aqueous methanol at 35 C, as well as the rate constants of the thermal decomposition of ...
