Abstract: Electrochemical investigations of the reduction of (cycloocta-ene) cyclopentadienylcobalt compounds in nonaqueous solvents are reported.(C0T) CoCp (COT= cyclooctatetraene, Cp= q5-C5H5) exists as interconverting 1, 5-bonded or 1, 3- bonded isomers in solutions of the neutral complex.
