Abstract

Abstract We wish to report the generation of remarkably stable o-halophenlycopper reagents at room temperature by the direct oxidative addition of activated copper to o-flouro-and o- choloriodobenzene. The reagents will undergo substitution reactions with suitable organic halides at 25 C.
