Abstract

Relations of rates of the vicarious nucleophilic substitution of hydrogen (VNS) and SNAr substitution of fluorine in 2-fluoronitrobenzenes with chloroalkyl aryl sulfone carbanions were determined from competitive experiments carried out at various concentrations of base.
