Abstract

Discussion The Structure of Picrates.-The elemental analyses of the picrates prepared from 4'-aminobutyrophenone hydrochlorides indicate that the products have been dehydrated. Perhaps dehydration occurred during the process of converting the hydrochlorides into the picrates.
