Abstract
A mild and highly efficient copper-catalyzed, one-pot, three-component reaction is developed for the synthesis of homoallyl amines. Reaction of an aldehyde, a carbamate, and allyltrimethylsilane in the presence of 5mol% Cu (OTf) 2 furnishes the corresponding protected homoallylic amines in good to excellent yields.
