Abstract

This image shows a top-view SEM observation of a poly(3,4-bis(octyloxy)-2,2:5,2-terthiophene) (PTTOOct) layer on stainless steel substrate. In this work by Deniz Yig? it and colleagues on page 480, PTTOOct-coated substrates were used as redox-active electrode materials in symmetric micro-supercapacitor device applications. Due to a three-dimensional porous network and suitable morphological properties, PTTOOct-based polymeric electrodes reached high charge storage capacity, energy and power density values.
