Abstract

Abstract An efficient synthesis of diversely substituted quinazolines and 1, 2, 3, 4- tetrahydroquinazolines through copper-catalyzed tandem reactions of the readily available 2- bromobenzyl bromides, aldehydes, and aqueous ammonia or amines has been developed.
