Abstract

Highlights • The effects of soundscape on rural landscape evaluations are examined. • Landscape evaluations are significantly influenced by different soundscapes. • Difference among different sounds is greater for positive than negative landscapes. • Ground/vegetation/mountain/sky/water are significant for audiovisual interactions.
