Abstract

Perhaps the most widely employed of these is the former which is particularly useful for the synthesis of alkyl-or arylcyanoketenes. However, attempts to utilize this for the generation of chlorocyanoketene met with failure due to the insolubility of the diazidoquinone precursor.
