Abstract

Abstract Thioalkylated Meldrum's acid is easily by treatment of Meldrum's acid with an aldehyde and thiophenol in the presence of catalytical amounts of piperidinium acetate ([RIGHTWARDS ARROW] 1–6, Table 1).
