Abstract

Abstract The photolytically induced reaction of Cl 2 with some nitriles was investigated in the gas phase at room temperature. The reaction with CF 3 CCl NCl, CF 3 CCl N N CClCF 3 and CF 3 CCl 3 as well as minor quantities of CF 3 (Cl) C N CCl 2 CF 3, CF 3 CCl 2 (CF 3) C N N C (Cl) CF 3, CF 3 CCl 2 N N CCl 2 CF 3, CF 3 CCl 2 (CF 3) C N CCl 2 CF 3 and CF 3 CCl 2 (CF 3) C N N C (CF 3) CCl 2 CF 3.
