Abstract

Received M ay 1.8, 2972 anhydro-3-Hydroxy-2, 4, 6-triphenylpyrylium hydroxide underwent 1, 3-dipolar cycloaddition reactions with a variety of acetylenic and olefinic dipolarophiles, as well as heterocumulenes, forming 1: 1 adducts by reaction at the 2, 6 positions.
