Abstract

Despite the growing number of papers describing the synthesis of N-quaternary ammonium salts, [1] there are very few reports in the literature concerning bicyclic amines 1-alkyl-1-azoniabicyclo [2.2.2]octane (quinuclidinium) and 1-alkyl-4-aza-1-azoniabicyclo[2.2.2]octane halides.
