Abstract

Neutral LAuICl (L= CO, RNC) organometallic complexes that exhibit crystal structures with molecules packing in extended structures have comparable luminescence properties, showing orange-red unstructured phosphorescence bands and extremely large Stokes shifts (15-20× 103 cm-1) in the solid state.
