Abstract

Abstract A solvent-free protocol for the synthesis of β-amino alcohols (Yield, up to 94%) is demonstrated by the ring-opening reactions of meso and terminal epoxides with aromatic amines using Hβ zeolite as catalyst under microwave irradiation. The catalytic system is 80 times faster than the reaction conducted at RT with six times catalyst recyclability.
